Dubai Marina. Rebuilt to the metre.
Evening over the Marina. Princess Tower and the Marina Torch rise above the canal; far to the east, the Burj Khalifa.
This is not a picture of Dubai. It is Dubai Marina, built on the real map: every tower where OpenStreetMap draws it, every quay and pontoon on the water, every shop under its own name. Walk the Marina, buy a lot beside it, build on it.
Skidmore, Owings & Merrill’s tower turns a full 90 degrees as it rises: every floor is rotated a little on the one below, around a central core. It was finished in 2013.

Dubai Marina
101 storeys and 425 metres of glass: the tallest tower of Dubai Marina.
3 km of towers on the water. 2,000 date palms. 103 shops. One marina.
The promenade around the canal: date palms and lamps, café terraces, the yachts at their pontoons and the water buses at their stops.

Every view on this page is a frame of the world itself, rendered in real time.
Shop by shop, as OpenStreetMap lists Marina Walk and The Walk today.
At dusk the terraces fill and the windows light up along the quay. Every name above the door is the one OpenStreetMap gives it.
The shopping hall of the Al Maktoum district: boutiques on every side of a plaza, with fountains and café terraces, a step from the stadium.
Furnished to the last shelf: the oak blocks, the lit walls, the pieces on display.
Where the real stadium stands, in Oud Metha: the home of Al Nasr since 1978, rebuilt for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. In META PULS, a seat for every ticket.
The full house, the match on the pitch: every seat can be sat in, every ticket takes you to yours.
Go to the arena →On the roof of the HOF, a cinema and a concert hall: 144 leather recliners before the screen, 540 velvet seats before the band shell. A seat for every ticket, the film on the screen, the show on the LED wall.
The concert hall on the roof: the curved rows, the stage, the light.
413 metres and 101 storeys, finished in 2012: from then until 2015 the tallest residential tower in the world. Its dome and spire hold the last of the light.
Then the towers light up floor by floor, the canal mirrors them and the yachts come home. The same Marina, open all night.
Every figure comes from the world’s own data: what is drawn, where it stands.
Around the main streets, the city is open land on the real cadastre. Buy a lot, place Villa Linden or the Kontor Hof on it, and walk through every room in the browser.
